Our Adoption Specialist (social worker) is on her way to our house as I type. She's going to talk with the boys, make sure our house is suitable, then spend a couple hours with Paul and I finishing up what she needs to write our homestudy.
Then the glorious wait officially begins. February 20 is a new important date for our family. That puts us 'next in line', at the end of the line for now, for a referral - being matched with a child.
This is also the day before we became Reuben's parents.

They strapped the yellow baby carrier on Paul.
There was no choice about it.
We left the next morning to fly home.
26 hours and several missed flights...
We were a family of four.
Ready to do it all again!
