Signs of Spring

My hopes are up.

My mood is bright.

Signs that winter is ending and spring is near:

I saw, with mine own eyes, buds on a tree.

The temperature is to be above freezing
for several days.
 

Thus, the snow shall disappear.

Paul gifted me a cute new argyle shirt this morning. 

Perfect for spring's new cricket season.

Right-o.

I've got my list of 3rd grade curriculum to buy 

and have started scouting prices.

The Children's Museum is open on Mondays again
so we can go on Paul's day off.

And most significantly,

there was a lone ant on my kitchen counter today.  

His troop will never hear his report of whether or not our kitchen is worth their invasion.

It's not, oh ants.  Don't even bother.
