I didn't really want to visit Seoul in June anyway.
Except, really I did.
But we got this email yesterday...
Good morning Stacey -
We heard from Holt this morning that your kiddo will have the Visa Physical Exam on Thursday, June 30! Yay!!! Things are moving along : )
Have a blessed day,

Did she really say "Yay!" Doesn't she know this is a crushing piece of information?
Here we are expecting to travel any day and now we find out that he hasn't even had his visa physical yet!
This is sad, sad news for this highly expectant Momma.
So we will not travel until mid July.
Oh, I am so disappointed.
This also means that we won't be able to travel to the west coast for the Event Of The Year: the gathering of my parents and all my siblings and their families in July. All of us together is a rare event. And the timing of our Korea trip is most definitely going to cause us to miss it.
Oh, I am so disappointed.

Just fly west after Korea.

Or maybe it's closer to fly east to get to the west from Korea

I think we fly up toward the North Pole, over Alaska and Russia and down through northeast China - right over where we used to live in China. So on our way back over western Canada I'll just strap Jae-min in my baby carrier and parachute out and coast on down to Oregon. That should promote good family bonding.
Oh Stacey, I'm sorry! That's like hearing your induction date got pushed back by 2 weeks... not fun. =(
