Sadness

I am having one of those days when I'm just sad for the world.

For the things I feel helpless about.

The orphans who are mistreated and abused.

The teenage girl who is gang-raped.

The women in my local world who don't understand... what it means to be transformed in Christ... to put to death our old selfish selves and to, from now on, live for Him.

The money wasted that could be used to help others.

Our sinful nature.

I do what I know I should not do
and don't do what I know I should,
Paul wrote in the New Testament.

God, forgive us.

Give us understanding.

Lead us down your path.

I pray.
